WIP :: A-Line Dress

Yep, still chuggin' along.  Who knew that the body of a dress could take so long?  Well, I guess I should, since I've made one before, but it's been awhile!

Something exciting is about to happen, though -- once I finish this quick 30-row section (now that I've decreased so much for the waist tapering, these 30-row sections aren't nearly so daunting anymore), I'm on to the bodice and the end is in sight!

The work will focus a lot more on shaping from hereon out, rather than forever-and-ever round knitting, which I'm pretty stoked about.

Also, once I get this one off the needles, I can start working on my new fall idea -- a chunky, cable-knit cowl or scarf in one of our newest blends, Ashworth, with a simple pattern that you all can try out, too!

That might be my big project next weekend when I head up to my mom's for our annual deck campout, so stay tuned.  In the meantime, I'm basking in the fact that 3 of these 4 weekends will have been spent in a tent rather than a bed, and that we're finally getting that late summer we deserve!
