Fun Variegated Yarns!

Looking for an easy way to make a fun, variegated yarn? We just got in a bunch of new rayon, acrylic, and cotton novelty yarns in a variety of weights to play around with!

I like to take the variegated strand and set it against an assortment of matching strands in the same color family so that it acts as a highlight, as in the cone below (the variegated strand used here is the one in the top picture, by the way.

If you've never used a variegated yarn in one of your blends before, ask us for some advice on what would look good with the base yarn you've chosen and we'll get you started on the right path!

New Fall Classes!

Fall is just around the corner, and we've put together a brand new class listing with tons of great projects and new skill sets to learn as the cooler months set in! Grab a friend and sign up to learn a new technique together, or find a project that would be the perfect holiday gift to get a headstart on!

Our classes are all scheduled on demand -- this means there are no set dates for these classes, but rather once your "signup" has been submitted, we'll add you to the list for that class. Whenever a class has 3+ people interested, we'll get in touch with you and schedule a date and time that works for everyone. This means we can have more classes, more often, and fewer class cancellations!

We've got a great lineup of classes geared towards beginners -- whether you've never picked up a set of needles in your life, or are looking to take your first crack at a new type of project, we're offering beginners' versions of all the following classes:
